New Patients – What to Expect

We’re So Glad You’re Here!

At Amy L. Scriven, DDS, we know that visiting a new dental office can feel a little overwhelming—especially if it’s been a while since your last check-up. That’s why we go the extra mile to make every new patient feel welcome, informed, and completely comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors.

Whether you’re new to the Stockton area or just looking for a dentist who truly cares, we’re honored to be considered for your family’s dental care.

Your First Visit

What to Expect

Your first appointment is all about getting to know you and your smile. During your visit, you can expect:

  • A warm welcome from our friendly front office team
  • A comprehensive dental exam and digital X-rays (if needed)
  • A gentle cleaning (unless treatment is required first)
  • A one-on-one conversation with Dr. Scriven about your dental health, goals, and any concerns

We believe in honest, pressure-free care—so we’ll always explain your options and answer any questions you may have.

New Patient Forms

To save time at your first appointment, you can fill out our new patient forms ahead of time.

(Or fill them out when you arrive—we’re happy to help.)

Insurance

We accept most major dental insurance plans and are happy to help you understand your benefits. Our team will work with you to maximize your coverage and keep your out-of-pocket costs manageable.
